The American Credit Reporting
System is a game. The people who know how to play it
win! I will show you how to hit a home run in the Credit
Report Game and you will have good credit forever!
Why
should you take advice from a college drop out who had to file
bankruptcy?
Because I now know the secret to achieving a great credit score and
the 3 things necessary to LEGALLY repair your credit.
Here is my personal story:
I
started my credit file when I was just 18 years old, I was still in
High School and joined a major gym chain membership. Boy did they
put it to me! (Never trust a gym or should I say, read the very tiny
print). The membership was only $15 bucks a month. I thought I could
not go wrong UNTIL I get the first payment coupon book in the mail I
got slammed with a $10 per month service fee that the sales person
did not mention at all. I fought for months over it and they never
changed it. Not only that, they put it against my credit because I
tried to hold out and not pay that fee.
Man, what a way to start your credit history. Bad from day 1. Well
this contract sold back and forth to collection companies and their
effort to force me to pay those fees went on for years. I had
completely forgotten about it back in 1992.
Forgot about it until I was nearly denied my first home loan in
1997. “I owe how much to who?” I asked the realtor. She called to
tell me that I could not buy the town house until a few items were
“cleaned up” on my credit record. “Cleaned up”, more like cleaned
out. These people were practicing deceptive collection and billing
practices but I still had to pay it in order to qualify for my first
home. So I clenched my teeth and wrote out the payment check and
over-nighted the payment to get the loan.
So,
my first credit repair was to roll over and take the financial
raping from the gym company. But I bought a 3 bedroom two bath
town-home for only $47,000.00. Today those same town-homes are worth
nearly $200,000.00. Anyway I met this girl and we had a baby and to
do the right thing and raise this baby. So I had her move in with
me. Then we bought a 1996 Chevy S-10, so everything ok, money was
tight due to the fact that we got stupid and had a few credit cards
maxed out. Things happened and we began to argue about the bills and
money all the time. Finally the relationship fell apart. I decide I
would seek out my first high school sweetheart. So I moved back to
Texas. All the while I was sending money back to my former
girlfriend to pay the mortgage $444.00 and the truck payment of
$337.00 so that she could afford to take care of our daughter. Well,
she was going out and having a good time with the money and let the
house payments and the truck payments get way behind. Suddenly I
find out that the house was in foreclosure and the truck had already
been repossessed. I could not do a thing about it because I barely
surviving in my 1 bedroom apartment in the “economically depressed”
area of Pasadena, Texas. Typically referred to as “The Ghetto”.
Over $125,000 in debt and seeing no other way out, I filed
bankruptcy. I listed on the paperwork every single company that I
owed money to even if I was only an authorized user on anything I
put it down. All this was charged off my credit report in June of
1999 and I thought boy I am through making dumb mistakes like that.
I am going to have control of my money from now on and not the other
way around.
I
started living kind of life that I had dreamed about. On December 18th
1998 I married my high school sweetheart. Managing my credit and my
money was going to be easy. I was a loving and responsible dad.
Paying my child support, no crazy credit card bills, in a few years
I will have great credit again. Or so I thought…
I
had new goals and was working towards reaching them. I went back to
College and earned my degree. The same year my wife earned her
degree in education and became a school teacher.
I
started a business make championship belts for professional boxing
and TV Pro Wrestling and she was working full time as a special
education teacher in the public school system. We were making pretty
good money. In 2001 we both got credit cards in our own names,
however my wife at the time had credit cards in hers and her dads
name and added me as an authorized user. Then it happened. Her
shopping got out of control and she was running the credit card debt
up higher every month. I had no idea what was coming.
One
night while riding home on my motor cycle a driver ran the red light
and plowed over me. Leaving me there in the road to die. The driver
didn’t stop or even slow down.
While I was recovering from the injuries I was not able to get my
products done and out to the customers so my business fell off to
nothing. It took nearly 9 months to recover. In 2003 we decided to
move to Florida. She thought it would be great because teachers get
paid more in Florida than they do in Texas. Plus I would get to see
my daughter more often.
This was in June 2003 we loaded up and moved to ( No not Beverly
Hills ) but to Winter Garden , Florida. My wife at the time found a
great job and I was back in business making wrestling shows. We here
again were making money and still had those credit cards calling
everyday.
Nov
2003, it was a Saturday and I was going off to wrestle in the great
state of Georgia which was a 5 hour ride up and a 5 hour ride back.
I get home at 4:30am Sunday morning open my door and BAM everything
we owned was gone. The little wife had loaded up while I was gone
and moved back to Texas. She left with every penny we had cleaned
out savings, joint checking and the business account. Folks, I only
had 42.00 in my pocket and she did not even pay the rent on our
place. She turned off the lights and water and left the cabinets
bare as a big F-U Kevin. I really could not understand why. I just
took and put money down on an SUV for her and was working and never
cheated on my wife so I just could not see what went wrong other
than we were in debit.
I
talked to her on the phone twice since that day and never have seen
her since. She filed for divorce and trust me, it was very hard to
get over the loss. ALL THIS OVER CREDIT DEBT, here I go again. So I
finally found a roommate to help me pay the rent until the lease was
up and he really hurt me more than helped.
At
that time I had two credit cards that I basically lived on and after
12-2003 I could not pay them anymore because I had 1300.00 in
household bills and buying food with very little help from my so
called room mate.
The
guy never paid and utility bills from day one, and skipped out on
two months of rent. I had to bowwer moeny from friends to get my
lights and water turned back on and to get my rent for Decmember
paid. After the lease was up I found a little tiny one bedroom
apartment for 565.00 a month all bills paid and started all over
again. The two credit cards I had ended up going to a charge off
status and then I was hit with another blow. Back in 2002 my ex wife
and I had consolidated our student loans, mine being $4575.00 and
hers being $23750.00 to get the payments from being so high. Well
they never got paid and I was the guy list on the loans consolidated
under my name. Well they went into default. My credit now had a
bankruptcy, two charge offs, all the closed accounts from the
bankruptcy and now defaulted student loans. Folks I could not buy a
penny piece of bubble gum on credit much less pay for it with cash
my credit was so bad. A credit score of 495.
I
then seen so many of these ads, "Wipe your credit clean forever
legally $500" and "We will clean your credit for your $250.00" and
the list goes on and on. Well I tried two of these programs only to
make things worse now I am out of $750.00 plus still had crummy
credit, boy I was pissed.
I
finally stopped working on my dream of the wrestling thing and after
meeting a wonderful lady to share life with, I decided to get a real
job and try to clean up my credit myself.
I
did many hours of research on the internet, signed up for a credit
monitoring service and went to work on what I have spend almost a
years researching and put this knowledge to work. As a test I did
my new found love’s credit because she had a few minor things on her
credit. 45 days later I got all of those cleaned up without paying a
dime and she owed $2100.00 on credit things from were she was hit by
Hurricane Ivan leaving her with household bills that she was still
getting charged for but there was no apartment to live in to have
ran up any bills and her cell phone that was misplaced during this
storm. Her credit started at a cool 512, now after I was done it
went up to a 642 score. Now the big work, MINE, 495 score after 6
months of doing what I lay out in the guide over and over I got mine
up to a 601 by October of 2005. This was also when I got remarried
to this girl I was telling you guys about.
Next step we needed a car because all we had was this little geo
metro looking thing that was starting to break down on us so we went
to a dealership 12-2005 and got approved but wow at 16.99%, made
good payments on a 2002 PT Cruiser oh and had to put down $1500.00
to boot with the car for this other used car. Well we made our
payments and then 7-2006 we had gotten an offer to refinance the car
and we did at 12.01%. Good thing, one loan got paid off, (hint, hint
) and after all this........ ( Yes I am leaving out a big amount of
time) We finally worked on our credit some more and I got mine up to
a 765 as of 10-2006, and that is with getting my student loans out
of a rehab program for defaults, still having a haunting
Bankruptcy and only paying off about $700.00 dollars on my old two
credit cards. This month we purchased a brand new car with 6 miles
on it right off the show room floor with no money down and 4.99%
interest rate on a fully loaded 2006 PT Cruiser Touring Edition with
the MSRP of $24,995.00, remember now I did not pay that price at
all, I also have a guide to car buying as well. :)

THE FACTS:*
Ask yourself WHY they charge $250.00, well here it is folks: In most

anything under $10,000.00 they will tell you it is a civil case and
you need to pay more money to a court system just to get your hard
